Color Me Magick Breath-taking Altar Cloth

Usually I pick up fabric yardage to make my altar cloths but this time around I found such a lovely one online that I could not resist it! Color Me Magick, the Etsy site of Meg Chobanian features unique and original designs that are hand-pieced. They are 100% pre-washed cotton and fully lined with no batting. The back of each altar cloth contains a design especially chosen to compliment its particular cloths properties. Directions for cleaning and storage are also included.
Each color is specially chosen for its individual magical energies, elemental and astral associations. They are purified with salt water and charged with Meg’s positive creative energies. Rectangular (24” x 33”) or square cloth that measures 27” of various colors and patterns there is one for every taste/wheel-of-the-year celebration. The center of the altar cloth is an eye-catching  9” pentacle, an original design that uses a unique technique called foundation piecing.
With each cloth Meg encloses a brochure that details the colors used ~ for instance, mine contains the colors of violet (empowers healing, peace and spirituality. It is associated with the Elemental of Earth, the herb Oak and Anointing oil of Lilac. And light blue which empowers health, patience, tranquility and understanding. It has associations with the elemental water, the Astral Colors of Aquarius and Capricorn, the herb Sandalwood and the day Monday.
Meg’s newest addition to her shop is her delightful bight and attention grabbing Elemental Collection of various sized votive holders and plates/altar dishes in beautiful bold colors of red, blue, green and yellow. They are all handmade by decoupage on glass using fine pieces of tissue over the outer surface of each clear glass piece. They are then protected by a few coats of acrylic sealer, making it waterproof and durable.  These bright color pieces are meant to be hand washed only. Meg is happy to provide her customers with a custom listing from the Elemental Collection at a special combined price. Alternate sizes and shapes are also available.

Meg’s motto ~” I offer this magick to you from me. / Take pleasure and power from the colors you see!”

Welcome to Bell, Book & Candle Reviews!

Welcome to Bell, Book & Candle Reviews! I am pleased to be able to share with you and promote some of the most talented artists and authors. I wanted to reach out to the artists that deserve to have their wares shared with the pagan market but may have otherwise not had the chance to be promoted via an online or print publication.
I began my search for these artists quite by chance while window shopping on Etsy and have not been disappointed in finding unending talent. So at this point I decided to reach out to the Etsy community and the general pagan public and offer these artisans the chance to be featured in a review on my new blog in addition to the possibility of being featured in another online or print publication.
Don’t let the title of the column fool you, books will be reviewed but also items that cross over to other areas such as pagan/wiccan/gothic/faerie. You will find reviews of unique jewelry, divination decks and oracles, art work, spell kits and many more special items in upcoming postings.
So, if you are an artist with a well-crafted and marketable item, please by all means, drop me an email at xpertreviews@aol.com  and I will be happy to have a look at your wares. My services are provided free of charge and only require that you donate the item of choice (usually mine) for review. I am happy to be able to offer these services to the pagan/wiccan community.
Blessed be, and enjoy the beauty of the artists featured in this issue!
